[Remote] Oracle PLSQL Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior PL/SQL Oracle Developer with a strong background in PL/SQL programming. The role involves working on complex large scale PL/SQL stored procedures, consulting on code architecture, and ensuring code quality through automated testing and code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Needs ability to work on complex large scale PL/SQL stored procedures in Oracle
- Consults with team architects and development leads regarding code architecture and design
- Writes SOLID testable code
- Develops unit and integration tests for automated code coverage of components developed
- Runs explain plans to ensure query optimization
- Performs manual unit testing when automation is not available
- Documents and conducts code reviews of all code changes prior to user acceptance testing
- Participates in and contributes to Agile ceremonies
- 3+ years Agile experience required (Scaled Agile certification preferred)
- Required experience: PL/SQL Oracle Stored Procedures, Splunk
- Preferred experience: Test Driven Development
- Proficiency in JIRA
- Ability to work on multiple deliverables simultaneously, adhere to tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Relevant IT experience (SDLC- Waterfall / Agile) preferably within a financial domain
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with virtual teams
