Salesforce Administrator- Global

Fortune Media is a global media organization dedicated to helping its readers, viewers, and attendees succeed in business. They are seeking a Global Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimize their Salesforce CRM platform, collaborating with various business teams to enhance processes and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Salesforce platform across multiple business teams with appropriate security and visibility controls
  • Manage users, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules across the global organization
  • Configure and maintain standard and custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts
  • Design and implement automation using Salesforce Flow and other declarative tools
  • Maintain and improve core Sales Cloud features including Accounts and Contacts architecture, Opportunities, and Forecasting tools
  • Manage and optimize Salesforce Campaigns and Campaign Members to support sales, events, and marketing use cases
  • Manage data integrity with regular audits, validation rules, deduplication and data quality initiatives
  • Design and maintain complex Salesforce data models supporting enterprise-wide processes
  • Support bulk data imports, exports, migrations, and cleansing activities
  • Implement and maintain data governance policies and technical controls
  • Monitor system health, storage limits, and API usage
  • Implement and maintain platform governance standards, documentation, and technical controls
  • Test and deploy configuration changes and manage Salesforce releases, features, and system updates
  • Perform regular data backups, system audits, and identify opportunities for platform improvement
  • Train regional and technical power users on new functionality and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Create custom reports and dashboards to help users and executives gain insights and make decisions from Salesforce data

Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience as Salesforce Administrator with background on Sales Cloud
  • Advanced experience with Salesforce admin tools: Object Manager, Flow Builder, Lightning App Builder, and User access management
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and relationships, metadata architecture, and customization approaches
  • Experience installing and configuring managed packages in Sales Cloud (e.g. ZoomInfo, Cvent, Clay, Mailchimp, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CRM concepts, marketing and sales processes (account, opportunity, attribution, forecasting)
  • Demonstrated ability to create custom reports and dashboards
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with Salesforce customisation using Apex code and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Working knowledge of SOQL and SOSL for querying Salesforce data to support reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis
  • Basic knowledge of Salesforce APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns
  • Experience with additional Salesforce products Service Cloud and/or Data Cloud
  • Experience supporting sales teams and sales processes
