Biostatistician/AI Data Scientist I
Guidehouse is a consulting firm that focuses on data science and public health. The Biostatistician/AI Data Scientist I will assist senior team members in performing statistical analyses and developing automated workflows for federal public health and life sciences projects.
Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of statistical analyses under supervision
- Assist in creating automated workflows and reproducible reports using R Markdown and Python
- Contribute to data cleaning, preparation, and visualization tasks
- Collaborate with senior biostatisticians and epidemiologists on project deliverables
- Learn and apply GenAI tools for enhancing analytic efficiency
Skills
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Basic proficiency in R, SQL, and Python for data analysis
- Understanding of regression modeling and descriptive statistics
- Understanding of GenAI and other emerging technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Master's degree
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., GitHub)
- Experience with AI and machine learning for data analytics
- Exposure to GenAI tools and automation frameworks
- Familiarity with public health datasets and analytic standards
