Job Overview: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Customer Service Representatives to join our Caremark Member Operations division. As a Customer Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to work from home, assisting millions of plan members with their pharmacy benefit plans. You will take inbound calls, answer questions, and provide solutions to help simplify their healthcare experience. With a flexible work schedule and comprehensive benefits, this role offers the perfect balance of work and life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans, including prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail order prescriptions
  • Take inbound calls and answer questions regarding plan benefits and options
  • Provide solutions to help simplify members' healthcare experience
  • Service a variety of clients and call types, including Commercial, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and specific clients
  • Receive training to upskill and assist with client and member inquiries as business needs arise
  • Adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience interacting with customers (i.e., call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, military experience)
  • Computer proficiency in Windows-based applications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to problem-solve in a positive, productive manner
  • Comfortable relating to customers in a patient, helpful way that demonstrates a genuine concern for improving the customer quality of life
  • Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards
  • Ability to exhibit patience and empathy and express assurance and confidence
  • Strong customer service skills, including courteous telephone etiquette and professionalism
  • Strong oral, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • At least 6 months of healthcare experience
