Merchandising Coordinator

The Merchandising Coordinator role involves supporting item setup, pricing, promotions, and vendor communication to ensure product data is accurate and ready for customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and maintain item and vendor data across ERP and PIM systems, including attributes, pricing, promotional details, images, and compliance information
  • Coordinate workflow between Category Managers, Merchants, and the PIM and Vendor Data team to ensure timely and accurate updates
  • Support pricing and promotional setup, including cost changes, retail updates, MAP adjustments, and promotional pricing
  • Maintain item lifecycle updates such as new item setup, assortment changes, replacements, and discontinuations
  • Review and report on item, vendor, and category performance to support assortment decisions
  • Communicate regularly with vendors to gather product assets, specifications, and required documentation
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Data teams to resolve item or pricing issues

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines accurately
  • Comfort working in Excel and spreadsheet-based workflows, with willingness to learn additional systems
  • Professional communication skills and comfort working with both internal teams and external vendors
  • Attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, accurate data
  • Curiosity and interest in learning products, systems, and merchandising processes
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Experience in merchandising, retail operations, pricing, product data, or vendor coordination is helpful but not required for candidates who demonstrate strong learning agility and accuracy
