Outside Sales Representative
American Iron & Metal (AIM) is a family-owned company and recognized global leader in the metal recycling industry. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative responsible for developing the market by reaching out to potential clients and collaborating with various stakeholders in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Actively reaching out and developing potential clients in targeted sectors
- Collaborating with stakeholders such as scrap dealers, recycling centers, and logistics providers
- Working directly with clients or suppliers to negotiate purchasing, pricing payment terms and delivery schedules
- Effectively collaborating with various internal teams such as operations, finance, marketing, logistics, and customer service
- Travelling to different locations, mainly supporting Cornwall
Skills
- You have a post-secondary diploma or business degree
- Have a valid G drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a sales role or similar
- You have good numeracy skills
- You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft programs (outlook, word, excel, etc)
- You are bilingual (French and English)
