Financial Analyst, Ads FP&A, Amazon Advertising Sales Finance
Amazon is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Ad Sales FP&A team. In this role, you will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Business stakeholders to influence decision-making and support long-term planning in Amazon's advertising business.
Responsibilities
- Employ strong communication and organizational skills to effectively prioritize and complete timely deliverables
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and strategic planning across advertising sales initiatives
- Analyze complex data sets in order to provide clear and simplified insights that influence real-time decision making
- Drive consolidation, standardization, and process improvement for global reporting mechanisms
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
- 1+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 1+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MSAccess, Tableau, Essbase or Cognos)
- Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, with the ability to influence the decisions of business partners through effective verbal and written communication
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- 1+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
