Accounts Payable Clerk
DLA Piper is a global law firm with a strong presence in Canada, seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Finance department. The role involves managing vendor invoices, processing payments, and performing miscellaneous tasks within the department.
Responsibilities
- Entering vendor invoices daily
- Entering expense reimbursement requests for payment in conjunction with payroll as well as Visa payments
- Preparing and processing payments for invoices via electronic banking or cheque; and
- Other miscellaneous tasks required from throughout the department
Skills
- A minimum of one year equivalent work experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Word
- Able to meet timely deadlines and ensure appropriate response times
- Dedicated to providing quality customer support by providing service beyond expectation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to perform well and be unfailingly diplomatic in a high pressure environment with multiple internal clients
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities required to prioritize a high volume of tasks and manage priorities
