Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our clients, resolving technical issues, and delivering product and service information. This role offers rapid career advancement opportunities, and as arenaflex continues to grow, we promote from within, offering team leaders the chance to manage a team of 5 to 10 representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails, providing information, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Communicate effectively with internal colleagues and managers to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information
  • Develop a strong understanding of internal and external proprietary software, troubleshooting common issues and providing technical support to customers
  • Assist colleagues and managers with various tasks, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to work

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Reside in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and deliver superior customer service
  • Previous experience in customer service, with a preference for experience in insurance or financial services
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and email, with the ability to learn internal and external proprietary software
  • Proactive and able to prioritize work, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting targets
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Minimum equipment requirements, including a hard drive with 20 GB or more of available space, an operating system of Windows 10 or Mac with a minimum i5, and a hard-wired internet connection with a minimum 10 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speed

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Knowledge of customer service software and technology
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
