Commercial Insurance Assistant

The successful candidate will handle administrative duties efficiently and accurately while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the commercial mailbox to ensure accurate updating of the New Submission and Outstanding Documents Logs
  • Operate system data input for commercial package & automobile transactions
  • Order inspections and maintain the inspection log
  • Complete confirmations of insurance
  • Correct IBC Errors
  • Handle mail, filing and scanning
  • Operate department phone queue

Skills

  • Ability to handle large volume of transactions and to meet defined service levels
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and innovative
  • Exceptional phone etiquette with strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Must be flexible with hours of work as required
