[Remote] Program Specialist - Patient Access & Hub Services

This role involves serving as the first point of contact for patients, conducting benefits verifications, and managing inquiries in a fast-paced contact-center environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, resolving inquiries with empathy and accuracy
- Conduct benefits verifications and reimbursement inquiries, documenting outcomes clearly in tracking systems
- Process patient applications and determine program eligibility to ensure timely access to therapy
- Manage inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume, fast-paced contact-center environment
- Educate patients on available access options and provide guidance on next steps in their treatment journey
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center, healthcare, pharmacy, retail, or similar environment
- Familiarity with US healthcare or reimbursement programs is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey empathy
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach
- Experience in a healthcare-related customer service role
- Familiarity with multiple systems and technology platforms
- Proven problem-solving abilities and a passion for helping others
- Ability to maintain focus and composure while working on the phone throughout the day
