Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and applications that drive business growth and decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data solutions, and implement data-driven applications. Your expertise in data analysis, software development, and cloud computing will enable you to make a significant impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and applications that drive business growth and decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design data solutions, and implement data-driven applications
- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics
- Design and implement data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data-driven applications
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reporting tools to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven models and algorithms
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data engineering and development
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and development
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data engineering and development, with a focus on cloud computing and big data
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data lakes
- Experience with data integration and ETL processes
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Strong understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and development, with a focus on cloud computing and big data
