Job Summary

As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting our cloud-based data pipelines. You'll work closely with our Data Science team to develop data sets and models that drive business insights and inform strategic decision making. You'll also collaborate with our IT team to ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and support cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python

• Collaborate with Data Science team to develop data sets and models that drive business insights and inform strategic decision making
• Work with IT team to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure and systems
• Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data pipeline efficiency and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for future development and innovation

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
• Strong experience with Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Strong understanding of data set design and architecture
• Experience with source control systems such as GitLab or GitHub
• Experience with containerization using Docker

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies

• Proficiency in cloud design and product offerings, ideally AWS
• Experience with automated workflow schedulers and tools
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance
