[Remote] Junior Technical Editor - Intelligence Operations (Europe, Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Intel 471 empowers enterprises and government agencies to win the cybersecurity war through near-real-time insights. The Junior Technical Editor will support the production of cyber threat intelligence reports by ensuring content quality and adherence to editorial standards.
Responsibilities
- Copy edit and proofread various types of short- and long-form reports for proper syntax, punctuation, grammar and spelling as well as adherence to AP style
- Comprehensively review reports for accuracy, clarity and consistency
- Verify and fact-check basic technical details
- Manage multiple assignments and meet varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Develop strong relationships and collaborate internally with key departmental personnel within the intelligence function and the broader organization
Skills
- Copy editing or proofreading experience
- Strong grasp of AP style with the ability to follow exceptions maintained in our Intel 471 Style Guide
- Familiarity with collaboration and software platforms such as Slack, Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, etc
- Familiarity with standard cyber threat intelligence/cybersecurity terminology
- Familiarity with editing content written by non-native English speakers
- Dependability and rigorous attention to detail
- Strong independent work ethic with the proven ability to communicate effectively across business units
