Responsibilities

  • Be the Staff PM responsible for leading the vision, roadmap, and requirements for the safe and seamless data movement capabilities
  • Drive strategic narratives and operational and tactical recommendations with customers and industry thought leaders on Application Modernization and Data Migration
  • Regularly evangelize our products and recommendations on application modernization at industry conferences, trade shows, and with key partners and accounts
  • Drive collaboration across Engineering, Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and the Executive Leadership Team
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date roadmap across your ownership areas
  • Deeply understand all aspects of MongoDB - to ensure a business outcome aligned with our broader product, customer, and company priorities
  • Define application modernization go-to-market strategies, identify key market/competitive trends and customer opportunities, and plan and manage programs to execute against those strategies by partnering with sales leadership at regional and global levels
  • Drive decision-making around prioritization, solutions, functionality, and pricing Requirements
  • 10+ years of Product experience working with enterprise-focused application development technologies and customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to large executive audiences and key enterprise customers globally
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to bring together diverse viewpoints and drive a strategic agenda forward; can-do attitude, optimism, humility, creative solutioning, asking complex questions, and willingness to embrace the unknown are all required to succeed
  • Expert-level understanding of enterprise-scale software architectures, application development methodologies, and software deployment and operations.
  • Deep experience managing or using relational databases, particularly SQL and stored procedures with Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, and PostgreSQL databases, in addition to MongoDB
  • Experience working with distributed streaming platforms, such as Apache Kafka, or change data capture platforms, like Debezium, is a significant plus
  • Strong technical acumen—our Product Managers must be as technical as their engineering counterparts and have in-depth knowledge

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
