Script Writer – Online Work From Home Project

This is an online work-from-home project, ideal for individuals who are passionate about writing, storytelling, and creating engaging audio content for millions of listeners worldwide. As a Script Writer at Pocket FM, you will be responsible for developing compelling narratives and captivating scripts across genres such as drama, romance, thriller, horror, motivational, and inspirational series. Your writing will play a key role in shaping immersive audio experiences that captivate audiences and bring characters to life through sound. If you have a flair for storytelling, a strong imagination, and an ability to write dialogues that resonate with listeners, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work with one of the most innovative platforms in the digital entertainment space. Key Responsibilities:
- Write original, engaging, and high-quality scripts for audio series, podcasts, and storytelling shows.
- Develop storylines, character arcs, and dialogues that evoke emotion and hold listener attention.
- Collaborate with creative producers, directors, and editors to ensure scripts align with Pocket FM’s tone and audience preferences.
- Research and brainstorm creative concepts for new shows and ongoing series.
- Adapt stories from different formats (books, web series, movies, or real-life events) into audio-friendly scripts.
- Revise and edit content based on feedback from the creative team.
- Maintain consistency in storytelling style, pacing, and tone throughout each series.
- Ensure all work is original, audience-appropriate, and free from plagiarism.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Literature, Mass Communication, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Excellent command of written English and storytelling structure.
- Strong ability to write dialogues that sound natural and engaging when spoken aloud.
- Creativity, imagination, and an understanding of narrative flow.
- Good grasp of different genres and audience engagement techniques.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality writing.
- Proficiency in using writing tools such as Google Docs or MS Word.
- Basic understanding of script formatting and structure for audio or visual content.
Experience:
- 0–3 years of experience in scriptwriting, creative writing, or content creation.
- Freshers with exceptional writing skills and a strong passion for storytelling are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience writing for radio, podcasts, web series, or theater will be an added advantage.

- 100% remote position – work from the comfort of your home.
