Job Summary

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in leading a team of hourly workforce, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You'll be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts, maintaining customer expectations, and collaborating with various support teams to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction

  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations
  • Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks safely and efficiently
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, working in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs) to ensure efficient operations

  • First Mile: Where the product is housed and ready for order
  • Middle Mile: Where the order is hauled to your area
  • Last Mile: When the product is delivered to the customer's door

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, operations, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels and temperatures
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
