Fishing Charter Deck Hand
Trying to catch another deck hand. Last one spit the hook. Experience as a fishing charter deck hand or a lot of experience fishing and filleting fish required. Season June-August. June start date somewhat flexible. Possible option for boat maintenance work in April. Pay up to $200 a day plus tips plus housing. Most charters will be 11 hour trips halibut fishing. Work would include rigging tackle, baiting hooks, cleaning the boat, assisting captain as needed docking, filleting a lot of fish while underway and more boat cleaning. This is a short season job. You need to be available when charters are booked. You need to show up everyday, work hard everyday. Drug testing required - marijuana is illegal when you are working under federal regulations.
