Job Summary

In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. You will transmit information or documents using a computer, read and visually verify information in various formats, and enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases to update records, files, and answer inquiries from guests. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the accuracy and completeness of information, operate standard office equipment, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems
  • Transmit information or documents using a computer
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print)
  • Enter and retrieve information contained in computer databases using a keyboard, mouse, or trackball to update records, files, reservations, and answer inquiries from guests
  • Verify information in documents or on computer screens, including text, printed forms, and lists for accuracy and completeness
  • Operate standard office equipment other than computers, such as telephone, typewriter, fax, photocopier, calculator, and electronic peripherals
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of point of sale systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in data entry or administrative support
  • Knowledge of computer databases and software applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
