Job Summary
As a Junior Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in supporting our transportation operations team. You'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our Order Management System (OMS), organizing routing requests, and collaborating with our transportation planning analysts to ensure the smooth flow of goods from our domestic vendors. Responsibilities
As a Junior Data Entry Specialist, you'll have the following responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter data into our Order Management System (OMS) from our vendor booking system.
- Routing Requests: Organize routing requests and send them to carrier partners for shipment assignments.
- New User Account Setup: Manage new user account setup in our vendor booking system.
- File Management: Maintain an organized file of shipment data to ensure entries are complete and accurate.
- Data Management: Adhere to data management best practices and maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with transportation planning analysts to support the flow of goods from our domestic vendors.
Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Education: A high school diploma or GED.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a data entry specialist.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot errors with accuracy and efficiency.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships; you'll collaborate with many of our external strategic partners: vendors and carriers.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Typing Skills: Excellent typing skills and experience working with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
