Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Compiling, verifying accuracy, and sorting information according to priorities
  • Preparing source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities if needed, and checking output
  • Maintaining accurate records of valuable company information
  • Responding to queries for information and accessing relevant files

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of data entry experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Experience using office equipment, such as fax machines and scanners
  • Strong typing speed and accuracy
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Organization skills, with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
  • A high school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
  • A bachelor's degree (preferred)
