Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Group Lead to lead our customer service team and ensure that we deliver high-quality customer service and order management. As a Customer Service Group Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a team of customer service representatives, responding to customer inquiries, resolving escalated customer complaints, and analyzing customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Group Lead, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to customer inquiries by phone, email, or chat, providing accurate product or service information, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Resolving escalated customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyzing customer feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for customer satisfaction.
- Order Management - processing orders, changes, and cancellations, tracking and updating customers on the status of their orders and requests, and monitoring shipping conditions and routing for accuracy.
- Leading a team of customer service representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that customer needs are met and that customer service is aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or communications.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to handle difficult customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Strong understanding of order management systems and ERP software (e.g., SAP).
- Proficient with MS Excel and MS Outlook.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in a customer service or manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools.
- Strong knowledge of the Industrial Manufacturing Industry and its customers.
