Job Summary

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for patients in the Emergency Room, providing exceptional service and support to ensure their needs are met. You will interact with patients to respond to inquiries, handle complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to patients in the Emergency Room, responding to inquiries and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner

  • Interact with patients to gather information, provide support, and address concerns
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns in a empathetic and professional manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and care delivery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and concerns
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance patient care and service delivery

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent (as applicable)

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
  • Healthcare experience highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a customer service or patient care role

  • Knowledge of healthcare policies and procedures
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., CNA, MA)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
