Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) seeks an experienced Clinical Director I for Ambulatory Services who can administer the overall nursing operations and services in Primary or Specialty Care. The Director has responsibility to develop, plan, organize, evaluate and coordinate the clinical and operational services, systems and staff through subordinate managers and supervisors. This position will also direct and evaluate the activities and delivery of services for a service line; oversee coordination of services within and between service lines; collaborate with physicians and other departments to ensure quality and continuity of patient care, formulate and oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines initiated by county, state and federal agencies; recommend the development of new policies and procedures and maintain standards of excellence in nursing practice to ensure compliance.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, we operate five community-based, primary care family health centers and provide more than 40 specialty care services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CalMed), the Inland Empire's newest medical school, which welcomed its first class in 2018. It is operated by San Bernardino County and adheres to a strict, fiscally responsible budgetary discipline.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Vaccination Requirement: Per the December 24, 2021 updated CA State Public Health Officer Order, all workers who provide services or work in facilities described in subdivision (a) of the order, including clinics and doctor offices, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. In addition, CDPH Public Health Officer Orders updated on February 22, 2022 requires all workers in health care settings currently eligible for boosters, who provide services or work in the impacted facilities must be fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19 by March 1, 2022. Background: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation and verification of employment history and education.
Travel: Travel throughout the County is required (mileage reimbursement is available). Employee will be required to make provision for transportation. At the time of hire, a valid California class C driver license, Department of Motor Vehicles driving record report, and proof of automobile liability insurance must be produced for the individual providing the transportation. A California driver license and liability insurance must be maintained throughout employment.
Certifications: Additional certifications may be required depending on the needs of the department.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must possess all of the following:
License: Must possess and maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
Certification: Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare or Business Administration or related field.
Experience: Three (3) years of full-time experience as a registered nurse in an acute care hospital, ambulatory, public health, mental health clinic or healthcare delivery system one (1) year of experience as a nurse manager or two (2) years of experience as a full-scope supervisor over professional nursing staff; duties should include writing and signing work performance evaluations, hiring and firing, discipline and counseling. Experience may be concurrent.
