System Test Analyst

CalPERS, the nation’s largest public pension fund, is seeking a System Test Analyst to join their Enterprise Solutions Development Division. The role involves triaging production issues and testing design changes for the myCalPERS system, ensuring successful implementation of updates and enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Triaging production issues
• Testing the design changes and/or defects of the MCP system
• Implementing system updates and enhancements
• Reviewing automation failures
• Running manual regression scripts
• Updating or creating scripts to address failures

Skills

• All experience and education relating to the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) listed on the Classification Specification should be included in your application package to clearly demonstrate how you meet the MQs for this position
• If you are using education to meet MQs, please include your transcripts with your application package
• If you have a degree from outside of the United States, you must submit an evaluation of this degree to determine the US equivalency
• The SOQ must be typed, titled 'Statement of Qualifications,' and each response must be numbered and list all relevant experience, education, and training, including places of employment, dates, and duties performed
• The SOQ must not exceed two pages in length
• Please elaborate in detail of your testing experience in conducting system testing and supporting Automated Regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Describe your experience as a Systems Tester including developing and implementing test plans, test cases and test processes
• Please provide an example from your projects
• You may need to pass an examination to establish list eligibility prior to a final offer of employment
