Analyst, Finance Operations - Credit

Cardinal Health Canada is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals. They are looking for an Analyst, Finance Operations to join their Finance team, responsible for overseeing financial processes including pricing administration, cash application, and accounts payable.

Responsibilities

  • Support the cash collections team on the daily activities (retrieving copies of PDF invoices and PO’s)
  • Enter and upload invoices into the system as needed
  • Support on accounts reconciliation, sorting, coding, and matching invoices with PO's
  • Retrieve payments and ensure funds are properly posted on the right customers’ accounts
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Investigate discrepancies by coordinating with internal business partners
  • Maintain detailed records of customer communications and payment status
  • Issue statements in excel and provide any other ad hoc report as required
  • Prepare analysis of accounts and monthly reports
  • Assist Cash Application Team to ensure payments are applied on a timely fashion
  • Interface with other internal stakeholders and various functions (i.e. CS, Pricing, Commercial, Tax) on issues affecting the AR and assist them whenever required
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits
  • Maintain accurate historical records

Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in related field
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with customers, peers and senior management
  • Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive attitude, willing and able to work with minimal supervision/direction
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills in partnership with a team
  • Interest in and aptitude for a role in Finance is essential - excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
  • Bilingualism including French is an asset
  • SAP experience is an asset
