JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Dassault Falcon Jet is committed to finding dedicated individuals in the aviation industry, and they are seeking a Junior Accountant to perform accounting and bookkeeping duties related to Accounts Payable processes. The role involves processing invoices, maintaining vendor files, and assisting in month-end close while ensuring compliance with finance policies.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices in accordance with Finance Policy 1
- Maintain on line vendor file
- Match checks to invoices and receivers
- Must communicate internally and externally with customers
- Assist in month-end close
- Apply finance policies and procedures to all tasks
- Perform accounting internal controls as established
- Apply sales tax rules on purchases and payments. Ensure sales tax is properly applied and recorded in the system
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of Accounts Payable or related experience
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Minimum of three (3) years Accounts Payable experience
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with automated systems
- Expert knowledge of Excel
