Property Specialist

CAPREIT is a growth-oriented company that owns and operates high-quality rental communities across Canada. They are seeking a Property Specialist to build strong relationships with residents, manage the leasing process, and handle administrative operations to ensure resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships and deliver excellence by addressing concerns to maintain resident satisfaction
  • Own the leasing process from initial inquiry to onboarding of new resident
  • Proactively monitor vacancies and achieve leasing targets
  • Lead administration of services, collect payments, inspect the property and facilitate resident moves

Skills

  • 1-2 years' experience in customer service, sales, office administration or related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements
  • Proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets
  • Strong problem-solver with effective negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's licence, clean driver abstract, reliable, insured means of personal transportation to and between work locations may be required for some locations
  • SAP knowledge is an asset
