Capital Markets Analyst - Healthcare Investor Engagement
Nasdaq is seeking a Capital Markets Analyst - Healthcare Investor Engagement to support companies in optimizing their investor relations and engagement strategies. The role involves advising healthcare companies on investor outreach, conducting research on capital markets trends, and developing presentation materials for client interactions.
Responsibilities
- Advising publicly-traded Biotech, Pharma, and other Healthcare company investor relations and management teams on investor outreach strategies and execution (consult on conferences, NDRs and direct outreach, PMs and analysts for company engagement)
- Research buy-side investors/capital markets trends
- Develop presentation materials for client phone conversations, virtual presentations, and in-person meetings
- Spending time in excel models one minute, then shifting to a call to advise a public company the next minute
- Support team in thought leadership creation and client meeting prep
Skills
- Deep knowledge and interest in healthcare, drug pipelines, and science-related research
- Comfort in a client facing role, particularly with C-Suite teams
- Passion for problem solving and expanding one's skillset
- Very strong quantitative skills; exceptional use of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint required
- Comfort balancing a number of concurrent projects and analyses
- Attention to detail a must
- Strong interpersonal skills and initiative
- Solid understanding of and interest in the capital markets
- 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in the capital markets
