Job Location: Windsor, CT
Salary: $18-19.25/hr depending on exp.
Shift: Training - 1st 2 months M-F 8AM-4:30PM, after 1st 2 months, SWITCH TO NIGHT SHIFT work 3 (12) hour shifts and 1 (6) hour shift per week (total 42 hours). One of these three 12 hour shifts would be on a Saturday or Sunday. WEEKENDS A MUST. OT paid at time & a half.

Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing/production skills
- 2-3 years experience operating machines
- Prior experience with hand tools
- Prior glass experience is preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Computer knowledge
- PPE is required/provided
- Must take a drug test & background check
- Operating and monitoring a glass melting furnace, glass forming equipment, and glass inspection equipment.
- Monitoring line flow and troubleshooting mechanical machine malfunctions.
- Maintaining and repairing machinery following standard operating procedures.
- Routinely assisting in maintaining/cleaning the plant in accordance with scheduled tasks.
- Assisting R&D Engineers with project testing.
- Documenting and recording information on equipment alerting other plant personnel of issues.
- Requires the use of computers, various mechanical and electrical equipment/tools, and protective clothing and safety equipment.
