Job Title: Summer Intern - Data & Monitoring Dashboard (AWS Quick Suite)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Summer Intern to help design and build an internal monitoring dashboard for our batch processing systems. The intern will work with engineering teams to create a centralized dashboard using Amazon Quick suite, providing visibility into the performance and health of 50+ automated jobs. This dashboard will be integrated into our internal SG Core UI for business and technical users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive dashboards using Amazon Quick suite
  • Analyze job execution data and create meaningful visualizations and metrics
  • Build reporting for job status, errors, execution time, and performance trends
  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to gather requirements
  • Support integration of dashboards into internal applications
  • Document dashboard functionality and usage

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and data analysis
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Amazon Quick suite, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Exposure scripting languages
  • Understanding of monitoring/logging concepts or DevOps fundamentals
