Avionyx Overview:
Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. Since 2009, our team has worked steadily to make this dream a reality. We’ve designed and tested many generations of prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented, committed individuals to join our team as we push onward toward certifying the Joby aircraft, scaling our manufacturing, and launching our initial commercial service.
Job Overview:
As an Intern in Avionyx you will have the opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge and give your professional life a great start!
Together with a team of highly skilled engineers, you will quickly become familiar with complex applications, tools, and embedded system software.
Our goal is that your internship will prepare you for a long-term career with us.
Responsibilities:- Work along with the engineering team on different tasks related to the project.
- Learn as you develop artifacts and collect reviews from your teammates.
- Receive mentorship from our senior engineers and trainings to grow into a professional career.
- If your educational institute allows it, work on your graduation project supported by the company and your team (with 50 hours paid by the company to work on it).
- Get ready to become an exceptional full-time engineer!
- Advanced student of any of the following careers: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering looking for professional practice or graduation project
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Team Player
- Knowledge of C/C++
- Knowledge of Python
