About the Role
We are looking for an AI Engineer to help push the boundaries of what AI systems can do in production.
This is not a traditional engineering role. You’ll work in an AI-native environment, where most code is generated with AI tools and your focus is on orchestrating, improving, and scaling intelligent systems rather than writing everything manually.
You will play a key role in improving core AI capabilities; making systems faster, cheaper, and more powerful.

What You’ll Do
Improve and optimize AI-driven systems (e.g., make them faster, more cost-efficient, and higher quality)
Design, build, and iterate on AI agents
Fine-tune and adapt open-source language models for specific use cases
Deploy and manage models in production environments
Work on backend systems that integrate AI models into a scalable product
Collaborate closely with product and engineering to enhance core capabilities
Experiment with the latest AI tools, frameworks, and workflows
Contribute across the stack when needed in a small, high-impact team
What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months)
Significantly improve performance of core AI systems
Deliver measurable improvements in output quality and reliability
Successfully deploy and iterate on fine-tuned models or agents
Take ownership of key technical challenges with minimal supervision
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML, especially LLMs
Experience with:
Fine-tuning models/
Building AI agents /
Deploying AI systems in production
Solid backend engineering background
Proficiency in Python
Experience working with cloud environments and APIs
Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, unstructured environment
Nice-to-have:
Experience with TypeScript or modern web stacks
Background in game development or interactive systems
Familiarity with model optimization techniques (e.g., pruning, efficiency tuning)
Experience working with open-source models
Active GitHub or portfolio demonstrating real AI projects
