Managing Consultant Finance Transformation

Your Role And Responsibilities The Consultant drives strategic pursuit support for opportunities by contributing to proposal development, shaping differentiated solutions, and translating client requirements into scalable service delivery models for Shared Services, Process Transformation and outsourcing engagements. The Consultant leads initiatives to modernize and optimize finance functions across key process areas including Record‑to‑Report (RTR), Procure‑to‑Pay (PTP), Order‑to‑Cash (OTC), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Procurement. Supply Chain, or HR. This role partners with client leadership teams to design operating models, improve process efficiency, leverage automation and AI, and enable data‑driven decision‑making. The consultant drives end‑to‑end transformation programs including process redesign, operating model transformation, shared services strategy, technology enablement, and performance management improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy
  • Support the development of Shared Services proposals and contribute to crafting comprehensive RFP responses
  • Contribute to proposal strategy, win themes, and value articulation for finance transformation and outsourcing opportunities
  • Support the creation of client presentations, proposal decks, and supporting documentation for Shared Services pursuits
  • Contribute to pursuit planning, competitive positioning, and solution differentiation for finance transformation engagements
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to structure GBS solutions aligned with client requirements and transformation objectives
  • Assist in analyzing client requirements and translating them into scalable service delivery solutions
  • Process Optimization (Finance - RTR, PTP, OTC, FP&A, Procurement/ Supply Chain, HR)

In-depth experience one or more of the below process areas

  • Lead transformation programs focused on efficiency, scalability, and digital enablement.
  • Define future‑state finance operating models including shared services, centers of excellence, and retained organization structures.
  • Develop transformation roadmaps and business cases aligned to business priorities.

Identify opportunities to reduce cost‑to‑serve while increasing analytical capabilities. This role can be performed anywhere in the U.S. Preferred Education Master’s Degree

Required Qualifications

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Big 4 Consulting Experience
  • MBA or professional certification (CPA, CA, CFA, CMA) preferred
  • 5‑8+ years of experience in finance transformation, consulting, or finance operations
  • Strong knowledge of RTR, PTP, OTC, and FP&A processes
  • Experience with shared services / global business services transformations
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms and finance automation technologies
  • Proven ability to lead large‑scale transformation programs
  • Strong PowerPoint skills

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • Advanced Financial Modeling: Experience with complex financial modeling techniques, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis, to inform strategic business decisions and drive growth.
  • Strategic Market Analysis: Experience in analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic planning and drive business growth.
  • Change Management Expertise: Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies to ensure successful transformation and minimize disruption to business operations.
