Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team. As a Performance Analyst, you'll provide dimension and analytical support for Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce. You'll be responsible for conducting forecasting, root-cause analysis, processing, quality assurance, and ad-hoc business analysis, as well as providing analytical support to the local operation and partners throughout the division.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
- Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and perform analyses from start to finish
- Build dashboards and visualizations to inform compelling stories with data
- Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
- Create, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to support various programs
- Execute programs critical to the business operation under strict timelines
Measurement and Analytics
* Leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/maintain reports
- Monitor data quality and document accuracy; improve if needed
- Collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results
- Apply progressive analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
- Stay up-to-date with today's data technology trends and share knowledge and best practices with team members
What We're Looking For
* Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
- Familiarity with forecasting, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
- Proactive interest in understanding the "why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
- Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
- Experience with SQL and R or Python
Nice-to-Haves
* Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools and skills
- Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/team members
- Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
