Customer Success Engineer / Roboticist

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Build the data infrastructure for robots operating in the real world.

Robotics is moving from research labs into production across factories, warehouses, vehicles, and field deployments. When robots fail, behave unexpectedly, or need to be improved, engineers rely on data to understand what actually happened.

At Foxglove, we build the observability, visualization, and data infrastructure that makes that possible. Our tools are used by robotics and autonomous systems teams to ingest, store, query, replay, and analyze massive volumes of multimodal sensor data from live systems and from production fleets.

About the Role

Foxglove is hiring a Staff Customer Success Engineer based in Zurich to own customer relationships and engagement with our European customers, helping accelerate the robotics industry forward.

Our Customer Success Engineers are laser-focused on helping customers unlock maximum value from the Foxglove platform. CSEs own the post-sales engagement with customers, from frontline engineers to senior executives, serving as trusted advisors on topics of robotics data management and observability. In this role, you'll drive customer enablement, deliver world-class technical support, and partner closely with our product teams to ensure a fantastic customer experience.

Our ideal candidate brings hands-on experience as a technical contributor in robotics, autonomy, or physical AI, with a strong grasp of typical robotics development workflows. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and architecture is a plus. The best CSEs are genuinely energized by helping robotics engineers move faster and build better.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the face of Foxglove to ~20 of the most impactful robotics companies in Europe, post sales, to ensure they are gaining maximum value from Foxglove.

  • Lead executive level engagements and ad-hoc meetings with both senior and junior clients; including going on-site across the robotics industry.

  • Drive enablement - understand robotics customers workflows, redesign processes, drive adoption of new workflows to our robotics clients using Foxglove.

  • Act as a liaison between customers and our product and engineering teams to advocate for user needs and platform improvements.

  • Build and champion the best practices that drive the robotics development flywheel.

  • Provide direct support to robotics companies you are focussed on.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years working in robotics, autonomy, and/or physical AI with a sound understanding of common robotics development workflows

  • 2+ years in client/user facing roles, with the ability to communicate effectively with everyone from IC engineers to C level executives

  • 1+ years using Foxglove or a similar visualization tool

  • Comfortable using AI tools for business and technical tasks

  • Experience writing scripts in Python and TypeScript

  • Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts and become a platform expert

  • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys solving ambiguous problems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus

What we offer

  • $300 monthly budget towards commuter benefits or building your personal workspace (remote only)

  • Competitive equity grant in a Series B company

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Term Life insurance coverage at 100% for employees and 75% for dependents

  • 401(k) matching up to 4%

  • 4 weeks vacation, plus holidays and winter break

  • All expenses paid company off-sites 1-2× per year

Why Join Us

  • Impact: Own growth at a fast-growing, high-leverage moment for the company.

  • Mission: Accelerate the development of the next generation of robotics and embodied AI.

  • Team: Work with world-class engineers, designers, and researchers passionate about open-source and developer tools.

  • Ownership: Drive initiatives end-to-end, with high autonomy and visibility.
