Underwriting Coordinator, Structured Settlements

Corebridge Financial is a company dedicated to empowering individuals in their financial lives. The Underwriting Coordinator will be responsible for initiating the underwriting process, providing excellent customer service to agents and brokers, and overseeing the medical underwriting workflow.

Responsibilities

• Processes incoming rated age requests on a timely basis
• Provide excellent customer service to our agents/brokers
• Maintain and update Processes and Procedures as needed
• Provide support for other teams within the department as needed including data clean up and research of data
• Responsible for supporting the underwriting peer review process
• Overseeing the medical underwriting work flow process, from intake of requests, to delivery of results to agents and the monitoring of the underwriting results

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required/college degree preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and requests at one time
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• We need advanced Excel knowledge
• Availability to work overtime with little notice
• Experience in maintaining procedures, standards, policies and guidelines
