[Remote] Staff Accountant

They are seeking a Staff Accountant to maintain general ledger accounts and support financial operations, contributing to the company's mission of enhancing data security for global enterprises.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable: Assist with managing accounts receivable, processing invoices, and reconciling payments
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- General Ledger Support: Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger, including posting journal entries and ensuring proper classification of transactions
- Month-End Close: Support the month-end close process by ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled, and provide any necessary documentation for management review
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and assist in preparing for audits
- Assist with Special Projects: Support finance team initiatives, including process improvements, system integrations, and other accounting-related tasks as needed
Skills
- 1+ years of accounting experience, handling accounting responsibilities/functions
- Experience with Excel and G Suite
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Interest in a role with wide scope in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
