Responsibilities

As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing Applications: Carefully review applications, insurance documents, and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility.
  • Conducting Virtual Vehicle Safety Inspections: Conduct virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants, with training provided.
  • Communicating with Delivery Professionals: Communicate with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications.
  • Ordering Background Checks: Order driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Associate's Degree or Above: A degree in a related field, such as business, human resources, or communications, is preferred but not required.
  • 1-2 Years of Experience: 1-2 years of experience in recruiting/onboarding gig app workers, data entry, HR, or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and the ability to accurately review and process documents.
  • Self-Motivation: The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with delivery professionals and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience with Background Checks: Experience with ordering and processing background checks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Vehicle Safety Regulations: Familiarity with vehicle safety regulations and standards is an asset.
  • Bilingual or Multilingual: Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus, particularly Spanish, as our customer base is diverse.

Compensation and Benefits

As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, you can expect:
