[Remote] Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will engage with engineering leaders to drive business growth and meet quotas by generating qualified leads through various channels. This role serves as an entry point for a career in technology sales, with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Identifying potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media
- Working closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and goals
- Evaluating leads to determine their potential as customers based on established criteria
- Coordinating and arranging initial sales conversations
- Participating in relevant industry events as required
- Undertaking supplementary responsibilities as delegated
Skills
- Strong desire for career in tech sales
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a customer-facing role
- In-depth knowledge of creative prospecting techniques
- Self starter and learner, comfortable working in a startup environment and seamlessly shifting priorities based on new goals and learnings
- Proven ability overcoming obstacles through hard work, determination and creativity
