Revenue Accountant - Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of revenue, receivables, and billing accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Month-End Close Support: Support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and review of revenue-related balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage calculations and tracking for Sales Comissions, and customer rebate programs. Working closely with Sales and Accounting leadership team.
  • Collections Support: Collaborate with the Collections team on invoicing adjustments, credit memos, and billing issue resolution.
  • Customer Management: Maintain and update customer records in NetSuite—billing contacts, terms, addresses, and master data integrity.
  • Revenue Recognition & Reporting: Assist with revenue recognition in alignment with GAAP (including ASC 606) and prepare basic revenue reports as directed.
  • Cross‑Functional Communication: Liaise with Sales, Billing, and Finance teams to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and streamline revenue workflows.
  • Audit & Process Enhancement: Support internal audits and contribute to process improvements, controls, and documentation when needed.
  • Revenue Analysis & Reporting: Perform detailed revenue analysis, prepare recurring and ad hoc revenue reports, and investigate variances and trends by product, site, and customer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or revenue-related experience—preferably in SaaS, pharma, or healthcare.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), familiarity with ERP/accounting systems—experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, with a collaborative, proactive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, aligned with US/Central time hours.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous NetSuite experience.
  • Exposure to pharmaceutical or radiopharmacy billing processes.
  • Familiarity with pricing tools like Lisbon.
  • Basic SQL or data analysis capabilities.
