Job Summary
As an Experienced Data Entry Professional – Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Enteral Nutrition Community by handling monthly quiet top-off requests and ensuring documentation is accurate prior to transportation orders. You will work closely with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to provide personalized support and ensure seamless care transitions. Key Responsibilities
* Answer incoming calls from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals regarding nutrition treatment request status
- Triaging calls to different departments as needed
- Confirming patient demographics and insurance information to ensure accurate shipment
- Handling new patient orders and updating electronic clinical records
- Collaborating with the patient confirmation department to ensure smooth onboarding of patients onto services
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
Required Capabilities
* At least one year of experience working in a customer-facing environment
- Experience with data entry and electronic medical records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Preferred Capabilities
* Home infusion or strong clinical equipment (DME) experience
- Call center experience
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
