Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting franchised distributor customers in selecting automotive tools and toolboxes, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure the best possible solutions.
  • Handling inbound calls, providing pricing details, part numbers, and troubleshooting issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Providing technical support by sharing information from the arenaflex catalog and trusted suppliers, ensuring that customers receive the best possible solutions to their problems.
  • Inputting orders accurately using internal software systems, ensuring seamless communication and efficient order processing.
  • Collaborating with the Customer Service team to resolve challenges and ensure seamless communication, working closely with subject matter experts across departments for cross-functional problem-solving.
  • Taking on additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn and grow.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Flexibility to work from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM ET, Monday to Friday.
  • At least 1 year of call center experience or equivalent customer service experience.
  • On-the-job experience with general automotive mechanics is a plus.
  • Intermediate PC and keyboard skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret customer issues and troubleshoot effectively.

Nice-to-haves

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • ASE certification.
  • Automotive expertise.
  • Familiarity with tools or related trade school degree.
