Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Operator to join our team in a remote arrangement. As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. You'll work closely with our team to input data from source documents into our workplace databases, file and organize incoming data, and perform related administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Entering data from source documents into workplace databases with high accuracy and efficiency
  • Filing and organizing incoming data according to established filing systems
  • Promoting a pleasant work environment by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing them to appropriate individuals
  • Performing related administrative duties as required, such as answering phones and greeting customers
  • Inputting and updating information in databases, spreadsheets, and other software
  • Archiving and organizing records, reports, and documents
  • Managing orders, invoices, and expense reports
  • Conducting research, compiling information, and preparing reports
  • Performing basic accounting tasks, such as posting payments and invoices
  • Maintaining confidentiality of company and customer information
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Requirements and Skills

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma and 2-3 years of experience performing data entry or a related task
  • The ability to input data in an accurate and timely manner
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Access)
  • Highly organized and able to complete tasks efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic accounting knowledge and skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment
  • Familiarity with data entry software and systems
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
