[Remote] Customer Service Professional- Inbound

The Customer Service Professional will be responsible for answering phone calls, documenting outcomes, and assisting with mentoring new hires while ensuring a pleasant experience for callers.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls quickly and in a pleasant, professional manner, addressing each caller's needs
  • Accurately document each call and the outcome in the billing system
  • Identify situations for transferring or escalating calls to senior advisors or management
  • File insurance information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Mentor new hires and assist with special projects as assigned

Skills

  • High School Diploma
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial billing, and HIPAA regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse individuals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-departmental teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong typing and data entry skills
  • Previous medical billing and/or accounts receivable experience
  • HIPAA certification
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
