Remote Bookkeeper

Key Objectives

• Maintain accurate financial records and manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Support financial reporting and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions including sales, expenses, and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date bookkeeping files and documentation.
• Collaborate with external accountants and auditors as needed.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records promptly.
• Utilize accounting software to input and manage financial data efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably within the cosmetics or retail industry.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and external partners.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.
