A Day in the Life

The Surgical Innovations, Chronic & ICU Lead Kazakhstan plays a pivotal role in driving commercial performance, strategic execution, and organizational leadership across Medtronic’s Surgical Innovations, Chronic, and ICU portfolios. This senior leadership position is responsible for leading a high-performing sales organization, managing distributor partnerships, and ensuring full regulatory and compliance adherence. The role focuses on delivering sustainable business growth, strengthening key customer relationships, and executing go-to-market strategies in a dynamic healthcare environment. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care while shaping the future growth of Medtronic’s business in Kazakhstan.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Deliver strong financial and operational performance in line with Operating Unit and regional objectives
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of experienced sales professionals to achieve sustained success
  • Define and execute effective commercial and go-to-market strategies across assigned portfolios
  • Oversee distributor performance, including pricing governance, inventory management, and commercial effectiveness
  • Drive new product launches and market expansions, ensuring engagement with key surgeons and strategic accounts
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, legal standards, and Medtronic Business Conduct policies
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, including adverse event reporting, in accordance with company procedures

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • University degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and leadership experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated and proven people management experience
  • Strong commercial acumen with solid business development and operational execution capabilities
  • Experience managing distributors and navigating complex market environments
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
