Role and Responsibilities

As a Customer Team Member at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for contributing to the complete operations of your assigned store. This will include:

  • Providing Exceptional Customer Service: You'll be the face of arenaflex, and your role will be to ensure that every customer leaves our store feeling valued and satisfied. This will involve answering questions, resolving issues, and providing recommendations to help customers find what they need.
  • Operating the Cash Register: You'll be responsible for processing all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, using our point-of-sale system to manage cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintaining a Clean and Safe Store Environment: You'll play a key role in maintaining a clean and safe store environment, including restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and keeping the sales floor organized and tidy.
  • Assisting with Merchandising: You'll help to maintain a visually appealing store environment by assisting with merchandising, including setting up displays, creating eye-catching window displays, and ensuring that all products are properly priced and stocked.
  • Supporting Cash Register Operations: You'll work closely with other team members to ensure that cash register operations run smoothly, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
  • Handling Incoming Goods and Unloading Trucks: You'll assist with receiving and processing incoming goods, including unloading trucks, checking merchandise for damage, and restocking shelves.
  • Conducting Work Activities with a Focus on Safety: You'll be responsible for conducting all work activities with a focus on safety, conforming to and upholding all operational policies and guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful as a Customer Team Member at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • Strong Communication Skills: You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, using clear and concise language to resolve issues and answer questions.
  • Mathematical Proficiency: You'll need to be able to perform mathematical calculations accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
  • Attention to Detail: You'll need to be able to maintain a high level of attention to detail, including checking merchandise for damage, restocking shelves, and ensuring that all products are properly priced and stocked.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You'll need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

While we don't require any specific qualifications or experience, we do prefer candidates who have:

  • Previous Retail Experience: Experience working in a retail environment, including customer service, cash handling, and merchandising.
  • Strong Teamwork Skills: The ability to work effectively as part of a team, including collaborating with colleagues and management to achieve common goals.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changing circumstances, including working varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
