Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance Department. In this fully remote position, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Accounting and Financial team with accurate completion of company financials. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in GL reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, Excel, and NetSuite, along with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Controller with day-to-day, monthly, and year-end operations, including financial audits
• Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, including Bank Statements, Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, and Accruals
• Process semi-monthly payroll in BambooHR system
• Prepare and maintain payroll-related schedules
• Assist with maintenance and organization of accounting files
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external partners

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• NetSuite experience (mandatory)
• 2-3 years of accounting experience with GL Reconciliations
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a remote environment
• U.S. residency with eligibility to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solution 7 experience
• NetSuite
• Payroll processing experience, including commission calculations
• Multi-entity accounting experience
• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies
