Job title: Fitness Attendant - Wellness Coach at the Cheyenne YMCA (WY) Company: YMCA Job description: The YMCA Of Northern Colorado has openings for Fitness Attendants at our Cheyenne YMCA. Your duties will include greeting members, introducing members to one another and to staff. You'll also be responsible for connecting members to programs, trainers and classes that could help them reach their goals, assist in keeping our fitness area tidy and organized and provide simple administrative support for the department. This is an outstanding opportunity for those interested in wellness and fitness fields to learn and grow professionally with our program director serving as a mentor. The post is also a valuable way for personal trainers to build a client base as our fitness attendants lead new member smart start and fitness floor orientations. Requirements/Qualifications:

• Dependable and self-motivated.
• Experience and continued interest in strength and conditioning, personal training, kinesiology preferred but not required
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Professional, alert, courteous, and tactful
• Ability to occasionally serve as a substitute if needed.
• Current ARC/YMCA First Aid, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired. We can provide this training.

Open shifts include weekdays, evenings and weekends. You do not need to be available for all shifts to apply and additional hours may be available at other YMCA branches. Salary starts at $9.50/hour. All Employees receive a free individual membership and anyone working 10+ hours receives a free family membership, 50-100% off our programs and if eligible, we contribute the equivalent of 10% of your salary to the YMCA Retirement Fund. Full-time employees enjoy a minimum of 3 weeks of paid vacation, 88 hours of paid sick time, and 8 paid holidays per year.
